maple<p>Well I have to say that while it's been one bad news item after another when it come to <a href="https://hear-me.social/tags/Trump" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Trump</span></a>, I have a small glimmer of hope that there is a change about to come. Some judges, notably the U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice, have finally decided that Trump (and Musk) have gone way too far and are stepping outside the bounds of what the law allows, and that no, he cannot impeach judges he disagrees with. That does not mean that we are out of the woods yet but it was a rare bright spot in the news since Trump took office.</p><p>Since the Judges seem to be finding their backbones, maybe U.S. Democrats will find theirs and kick out Chuck Schumer and elect a party leader that is actually willing to put up a fight. Maybe Bernie Sanders or Tim Walz or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or anyone that will never attempt to appease Trump the way Schumer has done.</p>
